Partnerships and sponsors

Playground Proms was developed by renowned performers and music educators, Graffiti Classics, during the COVID-19 restrictions. It was launched in collaboration with Cumbria Music Hub with great success in May 2021, supported by a grant from Arts Council England. In March 2022, Graffiti Classics formed the dedicated Playground Proms charity (registered in England and Wales No 1198476) to enable a wider range of funding opportunities and reinforce its educational and charitable aims.

The 2026 project will take music to 180 schools across fifteen regions as well as fifteen care homes. Fundraising efforts are ongoing but we are grateful to have received funding for this project from the Hadfield Trust, the Wise Music Foundation, the Concertina Charitable Trust and the Hedley Foundation so far.
