Meet our new logo designer

I am Christian, I am 8 y.o. and I am from Caernarfon. I started to play music at the age of 4 inspired by Miss Lucy at school. Piano was my first and only instrument until I saw Vanessa Mae on YouTube playing violin. So at age 5 I started to play violin, which is really challenging with my hypermobility, but I don't give up. At the same age I started to take singing lessons. At age 6 I added cornet to my instruments (it's hard!) and I was lucky to have some lessons with Deiniolen brass band, which gave me a good start. At age 7 I finally started acoustic guitar lessons, adding electric guitar and drums with school music services just before my 8th birthday. I also write my own music. Music is a big part of my life and means a lot to me. That is why I decided to take part in this logo competition to share my love of music and to help others to visualise and picture how much fun children can have by playing music and enjoying it at the proms. In my logo children are enjoying their instruments as much as I do. Music lessons are fun! Some might presume that I am from a musical family, nope, only my Dad used to sing in a band and used to play some guitar before he had MS. Some may think either that I practice all day, or that I can't play so many instruments. Neither are right. I do play my instruments daily, focusing on quality of practice, rather than time and I do have time for other things (arts, crafts and sport).
